Ausiello: We cornered DH boss Marc Cherry at Sunday’s WGA Awards and gently grilled him about a possible T/L reunion. “We’ve got some interesting twists and turns [ahead],” he said, “and what I hope will be an amazing and fascinating end to their relationship.” Cherry went on to all but confirm that Brenda Strong the woman and not just the voice will be featured in the swan song, saying, “I would say that the odds of seeing [Mary Alice] on screen in the season finale are very high.”

‘Desperate Housewives’ scoop: Major character dies!

EW has learned exclusively that a major character will meet her (or his) demise in an episode of Desperate Housewives that’s currently shooting in Burbank, Calif.

The cast just learned about the shocking death this week. ABC won’t spill details — we don’t know if it’s one of ladies or one of the husbands — but the pivotal passing will air in March.

Though the actor obviously won’t appear in the much-anticipated finale, at least he or she will be available for pilot season. Many pilots have already been ordered for fall 2012 consideration and casting has begun.

Production on the final season of Desperate Housewives doesn’t wrap until late April for the finale in May.

Desperate-Housewives.org to Go Dark in Protest of SOPA and PIPA

On January 18th, 2012, Desperate-Housewives.org will go dark at 12am MT in protest of the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and PIPA (Protect IP Act). During that time, visitors will be directed to a black page informing you that the site has gone dark and is not available. The site will re-open at 12am MT (January 19th, 2012).

Many of our affiliate sites will be going dark as well.
